Into the Peru , I got like a blind chicken to the grain ( slovak slang ) and at the invitation of my friends and my girlfriend. I spent here unforgettable 7 weeks. The first few days in Lima were full of comparison with Europe and USA and I think that every day I swore to terrible public transport and streets full of smog. Peru is a developing country with one of the fastest GDP growth on the Pacific Ocean with stunning countryside off the coast of the Pacific, through deserts, plateaus where it rains 15 minutes per year to after the Amazon forest.

People in Peru live a simple life, devoted to fishing, agriculture. Tourism is a major income money into state coffers. The actual capital of Lima, however, modern metropolis where live 8 million people. The city is developing at a rapid pace. Nowhere else in the world have I seen such building activity than right here. Skyscrapers, shopping centers, residential part but also cinema, theater, sports here are soaring. Looking at the national soccer stadium Peru and compared with our "Slovakian National Stadium", I wondered about the status of a developing country. Another thing that Peru boasts a national cuisine. This is the fastest expanding cuisine in the world, Lima is considered the capital of gastronomy in America. Food like ceviche (fresh fish marinated with lime juice with peruvian peppers) or my favorite Lomo Saltado (Succulent pieces of beef mixed with fried red onions, tomatoes, yellow peppers, cilantro, a little vinegar, soy sauce and French fries). What is Peru cant be proud of is safety. All buildings are enclosed by tall gates that are locked at night. In the modern parts of the city are around the home, mounted electric wires. There is a lot of pickpocket and at first day I ve been robbed as well.

Peru is not only Lima. Millions of tourists come every year to discover the history of Peru and the Inca civilization in particular. This empire at the time of greatest glory stretched from Argentina and Colombia, and in his right was among the most developed civilization. From 1200 to 1572 when the Spanish conciscadors used the civil war and conquered the Inca Empire. Quechua language has since been replaced by Spanish. The center of the empire was the city of Cusco, located about 1000 km from Lima. The town has many monuments, temples, churches from the time of the Incas but also the first Spaniards. In the town there are huge ruins of temples, which were generated from several thousand ton monoliths and builded so well that You cant even put knife between them.

Approximately 100 km from Cusco is famous Machu Picchu (Old Peak). This city is in the middle of high mountains Andes of 2500 meters and that only remained hidden from the Spanish conciscadors. However, the town was never completed. It was discovered in the early 19th century by American discoverer. Above the town rises the hill Huayna Picchu and profile shape symbolizes Inca. The townspeople used irrigation system, yet there we find features fountains, sewerage know. The city center is a temple complex with the most beautiful stone creations - the pyramid called the Temple of the Sun , its highest point is the famous sacred platform - granite monolith Intihuatana , the language Kečuáncov "place where the sun is tied". It served as a clock period and showed equinoxes and other significant recurring events on the celestial sphere. At noon on March 21 and September 21 pillars standing in the immediate vicinity of the monolith no longer cast a shadow.

In addition to Cuzco and Machu píchhe I was able to visit the city of Ica and Nazca remotely five hours from Lima. Ica is a desert region, where there is an oasis of Huacachina . Very nice place middle of the desert where tourists can try sandboarding, dune buggies or transfer over sandy dunes. In Nazca, in turn, are 300 patterns consisting of bright lines that are several kilometers long. These figures are only visible from the aircraft and still represent a great mystery. Purpose but also the very origin of patterns is still not understood. According to scientists, could be a gigantic astronomical calendar, the remains of an irrigation system, or the theory of extraterrestrial origin. For many, however, the shapes were religious and ritual significance.

After nearly two months it was time to pack all the stuff and say goodbye to Peru Anski adventure and above all lovely and kind-hearted people I met here. Peru ANCI are considered to be the best people, and I can only confirm this claim. People live a different way of life than Europeans. More devoted to family, friends'm not arguing, they are petty and they know to enjoy the simple things. Even Early drinking freshly squeezed juice from pineapple and papaya had in them a deeper meaning. Peru impressed and I know that once I come back here
